Our mission is to empower Latinas by amplifying their voices, stories, and initiatives; fostering economic opportunities, leadership development, and equitable access to resources; and providing fiscal sponsorship to social‑impact businesses. We are dedicated to creating pathways for Latinas to thrive economically, socially, and culturally, all while driving systemic change in our communities.

A world where Latinas are fully empowered to lead, innovate, and inspire, with equal opportunities to succeed in all areas of society. By celebrating their contributions and dismantling systemic barriers, we envision thriving Latina communities that drive inclusive growth and collective prosperity.

Damaris M Miguel serves on the board of the Latina Equity Foundation with a deep commitment to being the difference-maker she once needed. As a Latina in the corporate finance world, she experienced firsthand the lack of representation and belonging—and now works to change that narrative for others. Damaris believes the most pressing challenge facing Latinas today is the resurgence of gender and racial inequality, echoing struggles from decades past. Through her leadership and advocacy, she aims to help Latinas reclaim progress and build a more equitable future. She draws inspiration from leaders like U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose courage and conviction continue to pave the way for future generations.
